Welcome to CineStar Cinemas, the Middle East’s most innovative and exciting cinema and entertainment provider. CineStar is a joint venture between :

  • Amalgamated Holdings, an Australian company which has grown into the world’s 5th largest movie exhibitor, operating over 1,300 screens across 157 locations in 5 countries (Australia, Germany, New Zealand, UAE & Fiji) and serving over 62 million cinema guests per annum
  • Majid Al Futtaim the Middle East’s largest developer and operator of Shopping Malls in the MENA region with 10 malls, 7 hotels (3 more in development), and 53 Carrefour stores in 11 countries. Aside from its shareholding in CineStar, the company also developed and operates successful entertainment and leisure concepts such as Ski Dubai, Magic Planet, Wahoo, iFly & PlayNation

CineStar currently operates 50 cinema screens across 5 locations in Ajman (Ajman City Centre), Dubai (Deira City Centre, Mall Of The Emirates & Mirdif City Centre) & Abu Dhabi (Marina Mall). CineStar has invested heavily in the UAE economy in order to offer our guests entertainment facilities which match those on offer anywhere in the world. At CineStar, it’s our intention to continually offer an exciting, vibrant and state of the art means for our guests to enjoy all forms of entertainment as it's meant to be seen (on the BIG screen). From accessing this website, to enjoying our hot fresh popcorn, gelati and nachos, to relaxing in one of our comfortable high backed seats or reclining and being pampered in Gold Class, the CineStar team is committed to offering our guests the highest levels of service at all times.

To deliver the CineStar experience, we rely on a lot of valuable people, the most important of which are our staff. All new staff undertake a week long classroom style training session before they commence at their location, and are taught to ensure that every guest visit to a CineStar cinema supersedes the last.
